Each Learning Lab will have brainstorming sessions and opportunities for building awareness and knowledge-sharing.
Nine Learning Lab series per year are developed and delivered to members of the CFA Institute community, PRI-Quebec, CPA Canada, RIA, PRMIA, SASB, FRM, FSI, universities, investment firms, and government and non-government initiatives.
Task forces, providers or frameworks and processes, and authoritative bodies are invited to present their content in order to educate stakeholders.

This session introduces the landscape of carbon emmisions regulations, accounting, and reporting standards, allowing attendees to familiarize themselves with the terminology used in the space. By the end of the session, attendees will understand organizational carbon accounting using GHG Protocol and be able to quantify carbon footprint using coefficients of emissions and operational data.

You'll also learn about science-based targets and ACT as a forward-looking approach, and understand how to measure a portfolio's carbon footprint and different ways to track carbon performance.
